A well-established label and packaging manufacturer in Mukilteo is looking for a Digital Finishing Operator to join their team! This company provides full-service label and packaging solutions, including sustainable packaging solutions, pharmaceutical packaging, and fulfillment services. They serve customers across a variety of industries, including food and beverage, chemical, household products, personal care, pharmaceutical, medical device, and technology. In this role, You’ll operate and adjust digital finishing equipment to produce high-quality labels that meet customer specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, has strong attention to detail, and wants to build their skills in a specialized production environment.

Digital Finishing Operator Job Duties:

• Set up and operate ABG Digicon finishing equipment.
• Load rolls, splice material, and adjust tension, feed, speed, and alignment.
• Review job specifications and select proper dies, cores, and rewind methods.
• Inspect finished labels for quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Record production time and material usage.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Standing for extended periods, frequent walking, and regularly lifting or moving materials up to 50 lbs.

Schedule: Thursday- Saturday and every other Sunday 4:30pm-5:00am

Training schedule: Thursday- Saturday and every other Sunday 4:30am-5:00pm

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Digital Finishing Operator Job Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment; printing or packaging experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions, safety rules, and operating procedures
• Strong math skills, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to read and use rulers, scales, and other measurement devices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product imperfections
• Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and management
• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently walk throughout the work area
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance
• Ability to perform work requiring close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
